Experience & attributes required:
Carers must have
- Have a good level of written and spoken English
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be confident drivers with a full, clean driving licence
- Possess good cooking skills
- Be over 25 (for insurance purposes)
- Experience in care or nursing helps but we also look at personal qualities such as initiative, reliability, flexibility, patience and compassion.
Carers can be placed from 4-12 weeks at any one time anywhere in the UK. They are fully supported by Care Managers and matched according to their skills and experience.
Training & support given:
Carers attend a Miracle Workers Agency 5 day residential course provided by in-house and external trainers. We hold regular re-training courses, which ensure our carers maintain their compliance with CSSIW standards. We have a house located close to the office for the sole use of carers during training or in between assignments.
